Social Impact

Sustainable energy is local and could become the largest industry in the country.

It will create thousands of jobs and develop some of the poorest areas in Lebanon. Regions like Hermel, Ras Baalback, Akar, Tfail and Qaa as well as areas in the South, the Chouf, Aaoura and the Cedars offers huge solar and wind potential. 

Since most projects are located in rural areas, such projects will promote sustainable development and create a virtuous cycle to promote agriculture, agro-industries and eco-tourism.

Approximately 2700 permanent jobs will be created, 2/3 of the team in such underdeveloped areas. This will help keep young graduates in their villages and reduce urban sprawl.
